Norton Children's Affiliation

University of Louisville Department of Pediatrics and Norton Children's have a longstanding relationship, sharing commitment to serving the healthcare needs of the region's children. UofL Department of Pediatrics’ clinical faculty oversee the vast majority of general and subspecialty medical care at Norton Children’s Hospital. More than 65 percent of all pediatric medical admissions to Norton Children's Hospital are cared for by our Pediatric Hospital Medicine service .

UofL Department of Pediatrics specialists staff the Norton Children's Outpatient Clinics in Bowling Green, Owensboro, Paducah, and the Emergency Department at Norton Children's Medical Center. Norton Children's provides financial support for many UofL Department of Pediatrics programs, including our pediatric medical residency training program.
