As a faith-oriented family man and second-generation American whose family immigrated from Guatemala, I decided to pursue medical education as a means of serving God’s children wherever my training takes me. Having a wife and three daughters of my own, I am especially passionate about interacting with pediatric patients of all ages and their families. During my leisure time, I enjoy staying physically active through the gym or on the mat, mentally active through painting table-top miniatures and DIY projects, and socially active through spending time with family. I am also a passionate Star Wars fan!
